MWT success in developing broadband radar
absorbing material was picked up by the Naval Research
Laboratory, and after demonstration of the performance of
our material, we installed over 10,000 square feet of our
material on four naval vessels in the Persian Gulf in 1991.
Subsequently, our RAM material was installed on over 90% of
the U.S. Navy’s fighting ships in the fleet.

MWT has extensive experience
with a variety of absorbers based on standard and novel
absorption mechanisms. We have exclusive access to a series
of materials utilizing multiple absorption mechanisms.
Research and analysis work has allowed keeping MWT on the
leading edge of the State of the Art in RAM materials. We
have used this knowledge to customize our products using
various absorption mechanisms for differing materials in a
variety of operational scenarios. Our experiences have
allowed us to develop an expertise in the benefits and
liabilities of various RAM materials under varying
circumstances.
